If The Times was serious about getting the secret ingredient to the best chocolate chip cookie in town, reporter David Leite would have consulted the baking geniuses at Dessert Delivery — the far-better-known Jacques Torres, Maury Rubin and Herve Poussot have nothing on Joann and Sam Cohen. The couple’s cookies are affectionately known as crack cookies around our home, and I swear, they contain a dangerously addictive mystery something that probably shouldn’t be revealed. Once you inhale one of those babies, you never stop jonesing for your next Dessert Delivery high.

Now that Times media reporter David Carr has publicly revealed the Fox News PR department as a gang of brass-knuckled, anti-Semitic thugs who ultimately undermine any positive press the Bush mouthpiece channel may deserve, what I want to know is what Mr. Media Equation is cooking up for next Monday. No way does one write an attack that is, in its way, dare we say, fair and balanced without something about to boil on the back burner. Stay tuned ….
