Bill O’Reilly Must Be Psyched His Bosses Aren’t a Bunch of Wussies Who Actually Care About Liberal Opinion, Women

Does NBC care more about Republican opinion than blatant chauvinism? It sure looks that way, considering the timing of the double demotion of Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews. As The Times reports, the decision to drop the dueling duo as election-season anchors was largely provoked by RNC mob chants of “NBC! NBC!,” following Sarah Palin’s attack on the “MEE-dia.” But in the heat of the Democratic Primary, nobody at the National Boys Club seemed to care when Chris Matthews said that prominent male politicians who endorsed Clinton are “castratos in the eunuch chorus.” Or when Olbermann opined, “Seriously, would Clinton have the female support she has today if she weren’t a woman?” Then again, perhaps I was a mere political naif, for Olbermann turned out to be right. Or maybe, he just wasn’t that wrong. Three words: Sarah Fucking Palin.

Fashion Week: Sadly, Justin Timberlake Isn’t Perfect After All

Posted by The MILF

I have Justin Timberlake way high on my iPod rotation, and “Justified” is a major family-dance-party favorite. But his William Rast collection reminds me of a not necessarily flattering observation made by New York’s Ben Williams in a review of FutureSex/LoveSounds: Timberlake owes much of his musical success to his producers, but “at the very least, it can be said that Timberlake has excellent taste.” Similarly, the William Rast runway show felt like a stylist’s curated presentation, rather than that of a creating designer. Everything looked cool, and culled from someplace else. As in Sienna Miller’s personal look book. I can’t believe this is all he’s got.

Fashion Week: threeASFOUR’s Shell Game

Has the threeASFOUR gang been spending the off-season in Boca? Because this dress reminds me of a giant capiz-shell chandelier. Coincidence?
I doubt it.

Fashion Week: Carolina Herrera Three Sheets to the Wind

Although not cited in the program notes, Carolina Herrera was clearly influenced by my new linens, “Poppy, Ocean,” by Lulu DK for Matouk.

Get these sheets and more from the world’s best linens boutique, A Touch of Lace.

Fashion Week: Charlotte Ronson for LiLo and Sam

Posted by The MILF

Charlotte Ronson seems to design more for LiLo types, than her butchy younger sis, Samantha. But here are two outfits I imagine that Charlotte envisions for a day outing by the budding flower-powerhouse. LiLo look, far left, and a more feminine take on Sam’s look, near left.
